Red Tuxedoes is a combination of my quirk for Red and Jer’s love for Penquins, hence Tuxedoes! So that’s that, now you know!

Jessica’s Story

For a little background on us, we met in Middle School. We had a mutual friend and she tried for years to convince me to just tell him how I felt. I was too shy for that. Maybe that is why I’m not shy anymore. I learned that being shy didn’t get me anywhere and I missed out on a few things. However, things might not have worked out had I not been so shy and settled for being just friends. It’s funny how life has a way of giving you exactly what you need, just when you need it!

Jer and I were always friends, even through High School. I asked him, my crush, to my Junior Prom and to my surprise he accepted! Little did I know that he would accept two other dates to two other Proms! What a ladies man, right? He then began dating someone before we went to Prom so our “date” fizzled at the dance and I was heartbroken. We didn’t really see each other or talk after that. He moved on and so did I. I thought about him on occassion and would hear about him from time to time, but we wouldn’t see each other until 8 years later!

Patience is a virtue. I fell for Jer all over again the first night we met up. Thankfully, this time, he fell for me too!

We had an amazing time dating and getting to know each all over again. Our Engagement was a few months later. We were married just over 1 year of our reunion! Our wedding was the most beautiful day of my life, our first year of marriage has been amazing and now I am just looking forward to building a family with him!
