One Year and Counting!

We celebrated our first anniversary! I cannot believe it has already been a year - it went by so quickly, too quickly! And it was an amazing year! I am so blessed and so happy!

Jer and I went to dinner on our first anniversary (september 10th) to Hunan’s! If you all remember, that is where he proposed. We exchanged gifts, but I sent him on a small treasure hunt across town before he received his. He bought me origami books and paper and incredible seats to see the Dixie Chicks! I got him a couple books, one about Japan because he really wants to visit (and so do I) and the other about Baseball Stadiums, old and new. I also got him great seats to the Rockies/Braves game in Denver.

We are going to try and take a trip every year on our anniversary, even if it is up to Deadwood or The Hills to relax! This year we decided on Denver, of course. However, the Chicks concert was posponed to November, but we still went to the game. We also met friends Kristi and Shelton in Ft. Collins for a night of dinner and drinks. We stayed in a great hotel on 16th St. in Denver and met up with another old friend, Justin, for drinks and wandering around downtown as well!

The game was great, the Aquarium was so much fun (we were the only one without kids there), Elitch Gardens was a blast, The Zoo was cool and we took some amazing photos!

Here is video of one of the roller coasters! I don’t know why, but I laugh on roller coasters. I mean I scream too, but for some weird reason I can’t stop myself from laughing too! And I held onto that damn camera the entire time! With no wrist strap mind you!
